Seriously? Are you kidding me?

I just spoke to someone on my work line. As long as I have been doing this, I am now able to read people's inflections very well. This person stated that a call was made to my office. I advised that I received no message. The tone was a mixture of disgust and anger, seemingly that I had not gotten back to this individual. I then found out that this person had not left a message, but hung up when it became clear that I was not available, and then got too busy to call back. OK???? Where is humanity headed? Why is the stupidity level, ever rising? This is a prime example of, "I just don't get it."
