Dream On

I recently have spoken to people in my life, and I wonder, do they still have dreams? Not the kind that you have while you sleep (although they can happen then too), but the kind that keeps you going day to day. What age do you give up? When does it seem to be a hopeless yearning? It scares me that so many people I know just live their daily lives, w/ nothing to look forward to. Nothing to work towards. That is frightening. I don't think I want to be around those kind of people. It's depressing. It's pathetic. I may continue to love these people, but there is nothing more to discuss w/ them, aside from the weather or other small, boring details. I also get the sense of jealousy or anger that when I talk about the good things happening to me and how I still work toward success, they cannot relate. So, why try? They may live good lives and have happiness, but I cannot help but feel bad that they are not working harder to improve their lives, no matter how old they may be. You should never stop growing, and improving your wisdom. You should never stop living your dream.
