Ups and Downs

New items. It may seem that some of these items are not worthy of their own entry. That is not entirely true. This is my way of "staying in touch" w/ my blog self, and not putting a whole lot of time toward it. Just for now. Laziness, uhhhh.

Kick ass new place we are heading to for dinner on Friday. It will be the third time in three weeks. Joey's Brickhouse on Belmont. Awesome service, great food, fun drinks and relaxing atmosphere. Oh, and a live jazz singer. Nice.

I saw my friend perform her show, "Found" @ this cool little place in Wicker Park. Davenport's Piano Bar and Cabaret. I was able to connect w/ a few friends I have not seen in a while, and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening's performance. It was a mix of some jazzy, musical numbers and some engrossing storytelling. Kudos to friend Kenda (or Kendra as the announcer said, duh!) on a great evening of entertainment. Also, it is nice to see artist friends making their own projects, not just relying on the ones they have to audition for.

I skipped out on the Flashback weekend this year. I would have liked to go, but was somewhat broke and not particularly in the mood. Next year, I will return and make an ass of myself. What fun!

I am actually closing in on semi-completion of a project. Not a big one, sure, but semi-completion is something, even on a smaller project. Right?

I am going to get things in order to make a fresh start on acting. New headshots, new directions, and hopefully new jobs. Whether I follow through remains to be seen. (nice, right @ the outset, I set myself up for not following through, good job Klug!)

Welcome to my world, welcome to my world, welcome to my world of ASS!

Nothing else to write about. Nothing to write about sure does make for interesting blog. I will expect my mountains of thanks for fantastic, daring and engrossing writing in the comments section below.

Zombies scare me.

That is all.

That's all right. You would have enjoyed all of the cute boys I picked up on my excursion. I had too many to handle, and they kept asking why I did not have someone to help me out. Oh well, maybe next time.
