Idiots of the Storm

I can forgive those folks that don't have the money, don't have a car and don't have a family they can count on. You go ahead and stay behind in the hurricane zone, cuz you don't have much choice. It's not a good thing that you're there, but I understand. Best of luck to you through this insanity.

Then there are the just plain idiotic. Watching storm coverage on MSNBC this evening, I witnessed a man in Galveston being arrested for surfing, as the water continued to rise and the winds picked up. Why waste your energy, man power, whatever, for this idiot? I am sorry for this next sentence (or maybe not) but leave the man to his own stupid devices and possibly to his own death. There are people that really do need your assistance. My thought is that somehow, this fat, surfer dude hick would end up croaking due to his own hard-headedness, and his long lost mother in Oregon would end up suing for wrongful death...and I am sure she would win. We are in America, aren't we?

This is such bullshit, and this is a reason I have turned away from the news over the past few weeks. I can't watch the continuous death and destruction, and above all, I cannot witness any more stupid acts by plainly ignorant people. Let the idiots tempt the fates, and we will eventually see justice served, right here on the television.
