Why do I torture myself?

I sat down to do some writing today. I completed about 6 pages on my screenplay. I was approaching 50 whole pages. Wow. Well, I did some checking up, and found that one scene was included w/in the text and also @ the end of the document. Bye bye 3 pages. Stupid me. But I brought it back up to 48 pages by days end. Good me. I am close to an hour running time. Cuz I am sure nothing will be cut @ a later date. The train barrels on.
