Group Interview

I applied last week to The Container Store. I have made it past initial steps and I attended a group interview yesterday. Usual stuff, but it seems like it would be a good place to work. There were the suckup folks in the midst and the really quiet ones. I was somewhere in the middle. I got a phone message upon my return home, that I have made it past the next step, to a one on one interview. Several things sound interesting to me. There is a part time shift from 5am to 11am; Monday, Wed, and Friday. It is basically merchandise processing. I would certainly do that. I have decided to see about having a couple of part time jobs to make a full time work week. This would result in less burnout. Makes sense to me. Now tell me if it will actually work? I don't know. Pluses; you can wear jeans and comfortable shoes. Great store discounts. Those hours would be awesome! Plus, within a year, they will be opening a store in Century City; near LA. Possible future transfer? Hmmm...

Next, I applied to Home Depot/Expo and Hollywood Video today. Why not?

Finally, I checked for employment opportunities with Z Gallerie. You have to fax your info or apply in person. Well, I will be nearby tomorrow when I attend my Container Store interview. So, I will stop in. Interesting tidbit, I got Madonna's new album this week (more on that later), and so I went onto her website to see how the album was doing. Lo and behold, there are 3 prints now available in Z Gallerie's art department...of, you guessed it, Madge. Weird timing. Is it a sign?

I will update later, for those that give a s***!

Me, bitter? You've got to be kidding.

Hell, Michael, some of the best things in life are bitter! Coffee, chocolate, me, and now you!

Did you hear about Madge being found guilty of plagarism?

Y'know, some of the best things in life are also free, or so the song tells me.

That particular Madge issue will not be addressed here. Have I made myself clear?
