Ugly Approaches
So close now. Our run in the Theatre Building last night was hard, considering I didn't really know where to enter, and for the show tonight, I'm concerned about where my milli-second costume changes will take place. Otherwise, it went okay. I got my first exposure (literally) to how the torn off shirt will work. I was a bit embarrassed, but at least once I'm used to it, I'll be able to enjoy the laughter (hopefully @ the bit and not at my flab and bad skin!) Tonight there's an audience, including the other half. Saturday will be our first show in FL. It's all happening so quick! I'm looking forward to the FL trip, but I'm most excited about being in our Theatre Building space here in Chicago, for the actual run beginning in May. Props in their proper place, a set that's semi-permanent, entrances and exits that are set in stone, costumes at the ready (same place/same time), and a dressing room spot; fit for a King, or a Pig, or a Servant, or a Prince's loyal confidante.

I saw Vanessa on her way in to the Theatre Bldg last night - I'm next door at the Bailiwick doing Angels. I told her to tell you hello from me, but in case she forgot, "Hello!". And break legs in FL. I will try my hardest to get out and see the show during the run in May
She did forget to say hello from you. Damn her! :) I hope your show's going well! I would love to see you @ Ugly in May.
