I Don't Know About This

I just read this. A Battlestar Galactica prequel series; called Caprica. It's great that the success is making things easier for more creative endeavors, but I feel that these spinoffs start to cheapen the whole thing and make it to...I don't know...big. It's going to lose some of its intimacy and magic. I don't know about this.
