Blockage?

Not intestinal. Although I do feel a bit bloated. Dairy. What are ya gonna do?

Since I "finished" my script, I've been searching my thoughts high and low for that next great idea. I've had some funky dreams in the past week, and one of them seemed prime for exploration. And yet, nothing has come out of it. Am I destined to write one complete item and call it a day? I'm very anxious to begin a new screenplay. I think that's the type of writing I'm interested in right now. But to do that; I need an idea; a starter. Sid's Apple was inspired completely by a strange, movie-like dream (even including Helen Hunt!) Can't I have more ideas that will actually pan out into a fully realized storyline? Is it just to early to expect brilliance (yes, that's immodest, but I'm proud of my idea and where it led) to strike again? Am I not far enough removed from Sid and the world he occupies? Blah, blah, blah...
