Show Stuffing & Other Stuff
Last night's show went well, but the audience didn't seem to be aware that they were capable of laughing or applause until about 2/3 through the show. Better late than never, right? The previous night's final dress (haven't we had about 80 of these?) went well also. The highlight of that run, was when castmate Jill's wig fell off as she was under the sleeping spell. Castmate Steve's next line was "Nothing's happening." Needless to say, characters were broken and laughter erupted. The de-wigging did not repeat last night. Today, two more shows and tomorrow; opening night...at last!
The "meeting" w/ ECFMG went well. If my profile and info match to something they need, then I'll be called for the next round of "interviews", etc. I'll keep you posted.
Fun of all fun! Thursday I wrote about how I've had no inspiration to begin writing a new screenplay. That night, I had a dream and yesterday, I started a new journey. Three pages and counting. Not sure if it will pan out, but I have hope. Of course, it's another zombie story. Crazy, huh?
