Does It Get Easier?

For those who have been or are in a long term relationship, is there hope that the issues always coming up; will ever go away?

It seems that the other half and I get along great for many months; and then one of the same old problems rears its ugly head again. We battle it out for a day or so, and then it's back to square one. All's well again.

What constitutes a final blow; a straw to break the camel's back? How do you compromise or finish these problems once and for all? So much time's wasted on this complete and utter BS. Sadly enough though, it never seems like BS @ the time; or even sometimes after the fact.

How do you know when you're wrong, when you're right, and when it's appropriate to stand your ground; or finally give in?
