Has it opened yet?

The other half and I saw a trailer for The Invisible @ the screening of 300 many weeks ago. It looked okay. Nothing I was going to run out and see the moment it was available. Meh. Well, let me just say how sick I am of seeing the ads for this film. If I would have had a deeper interest in its release, it might have been killed by the over-exposure the film has gotten thus far. I either mute the television or turn the channel when a teaser comes on. Why does this one seem so much more overplayed than anything else? It can't help any that I disliked the lead actor (Jason or is it Justin Chatwin?) as Tom Cruise's son in War of the Worlds, so seeing him say "Hello", wave his arms and see books reappear on a shelf; over and over has been torture. Please let this film open (I think it did today) and let it disappear quickly. Let The Invisible become that. That is all.

PS, don't get me wrong, I don't want anyone's projects to fail. It's certainly not the cast or crew who has bombarded every commercial break w/ this ad. So, for the sake of all of the artists involved, good luck on your opening weekend.

That is all for real.
