A few updates for my avid readers of 0.

Unsure if I posted this already, so if I did, you get twice the heart healthy goodness of my fascinating information. I did get hired @ Restoration Hardware; but as in Chicago; as a part timer. Pay is a bit better, but where oh where is that management job that I came down here for? And if not that, then where oh where is a full time position? Also some sort of freeze on that; due to the adt'l payments for benefits. We'll see where this all leads; retail has a high turnover. But for now, I'm still applying everywhere else that strikes my fancy; and to some places that don't. Where is the most fascinating place I forwarded my resume? Why, to an adult website. They're looking for journalists, editors, reviewers, etc. It's a blog for gay porn, folks. However, it sounds super fun. There are plenty of other positions (tee hee) other than the porn side of it (pop culture, celeb gossip)...not that I'd mind. I'm sure the image you all hold in your heads of me; has just been destroyed. Alas. Could be a good gig, and I wouldn't be working in some dreadful place, I'd be WRITING; and I think from home! I'd be using my CREATIVE MIND. If it has to be in porn, so be it. But again, I like porn, so no sleep lost here.

So, I don't start @ Resto until Monday, thus it will be 2 weeks here that the other half and I have had to sit around, take in the area, and enjoy the weather...which is exactly what we have done. Don't get me wrong, we still have plenty to do; and we have done it. But that doesn't mean we haven't stopped off @ Sonic almost every day for Happy Hour (slushes half off!) My favorite is cherry. The other half prefers grape.

More unbelievable "hi's" everywhere we go. Seriously, it's weird to see so many hotties everywhere you go. Well, perhaps it's not the amount (it is), but the fact that they are in shorts, wife-beaters or no shirts at all...at all times of the day or night. Remember the weather folks. Hot in every sense of the word here. Nummy.
