Local Actors Spotted #59-60

Two new additions. Just yesterday, Kim Cardashian of Keeping Up with the Cardashians was in the store. She was very sweet, and even hotter in person. I told her that, prefacing the comment with, "I'm not hitting on you, I'm gay". I asked about her new season. It begins in March. They're filming it now.

My other recent run-in was w/ Lisa Laporta, of HGTV's Designed to Sell. We received an email from corporate that she would be filming a segment in our store on Thursday, for her new show, Armchair Designers. I was bummed that it would be on Thursday, cuz I have the day off (not that I don't LOVE my days off). I had a chance to chat w/ her on Monday, cuz she was in the store on her own, early, to check out artwork she would want to possibly choose for her first episode. She was also super sweet, and admittedly nervous about her new program. I got her business card, cuz I asked if they were looking for production assistants. She replied with "always!" She also said I could drop her name if I were to apply for a position there. I may just do that. She said that she herself, started as a production assistant.

I love all of the folks I'm meeting @ this store. Perhaps this could be a stepping stone...just based on the location of this retail gig. Nice.
