Local Actors Spotted #99

In honor of the current showing of Jaws 3-D currently on the tube, I will announce my latest celeb run-in. About a week ago, Bess Armstrong, our blonde biologist heroine of the third Jaws film, came into the store. Well, I kind of kept it to myself when I met her, but Jaws 3-D is one of my all time favorite "bad" movies. It's uber-cheesy, but always worth a look...love this flick. So, I complemented her on Nothing in Common, that late 80's flick starring Tom Hanks and Jackie Gleason. It is one of my all time faves as well (and her meeting made me realize that I hadn't added this one to my roster). She was very sweet, looked super, and gave me an autograph...stating that Nothing in Common was one of her favorites as well. One of the parts of my job that I LOVE. Hey, Bess! Plus, this lucky lass got to smooch w/ Dennis Quaid. Surely a highlight on the shoot for Jaws 3-D.
