Completion?

Just last week, the other half installed the final plumbing pieces to complete our master bathroom sink. For the first time in almost a year, we were able to brush our teeth in the bathroom downstairs. No more kitchen teeth brushing. No more squatting to get the necessary items from the kitchen cabinets @ our feet. There were many a late night that we would prepare to go to bed, and realize that we had not yet scrubbed the plaque from our teeth. Rather than try to drag our heavy burdensome bulk up the stairs, we would choose to let our teeth rot over night. Now, we no longer have that excuse. Clean teeth for the night can no longer be denied.
In addition, our master bedroom re-do is basically completed. Have we reached that point? Can we actually call our new (2 year old) home, done? I guess in a few months we will find something else to work on. But yes, all rooms have had work done on them. I can't believe it. Let the doves fly. Let me sing to the heavens. Let the rays of sunlight stream down onto my smiling face. Completion. So, this is what finishing a project feels like. Not bad. Keep 'em coming.
