A Bloody Mess
Everywhere I go, I have been seeing discarded (probably used) band-aids. Sometimes, one on top of the other, formerly used for a large wound. Am I just noticing them now, or is this a new thing? Like their close cousins, the chewed up gum, they too seem to be stuck permanently to the sidewalks. But there are sooo many of them. Why? What has started this alarming trend? It's bad enough that these folks are littering, but littering w/ items that may contain some of their rotting bodily fluids makes me a bit uneasy. Whoever you are, stop throwing your band-aids on the sidewalk. I am glad that you no longer need them, and clearly you are healed, cuz they are everywhere but your wound. Just throw them in the trash, and leave the sidewalks to their usual parasites, the sticky gum that it is accustomed to. What is next?
