So many of my readers ask one question again and again. Where does the name "klugula" come from? Well, eons ago, when I was attending college, the Madonna "Sex" book was released. Shocked that I purchased it immediately? I knew you would be. Anyhoo, I had read/heard that Madge had a showing of the 1978 porn trash classic, Caligula for the release party of "Sex". Well, since my hormones were in a rage at this time of my life, anything sexy or Madonna related had to be examined. I found a copy of Caligula at my local video store. Only 10 bucks! What a bargain! It took me 3 days to get through the whole thing. No, not because of my frequent stops to...well, you know; but because it was a pretty gross movie. Some of the violence was intense and very gory. You would think that after a lifetime of movies such as Day of the Dead, this would not phase me. Well, as many people know, the movie really stinks. Since I purchased it while I was home, I felt the need to return to school with this classy piece of entertainment. I can't recall who I forced this crap upon, but since I was the one to introduce them to it, I was christened with the name; klugula. Clever, huh? Well, it has stuck, and here we are moons later, and I am still using it everyday.
