God Punished Us for Our Unholy Sinning
We went to the casino yesterday. I know, I know. I'm unemployed, but the other half (aka Sugar Daddy) helped support my addiction. It seems as if it could be that, as much as we have been there recently. Well, we both knew that a big snowstorm was on its way, but we went anyway. It's just over the border in Hammond, usually a maximum of 40 minutes of driving. The way there was fine, we gambled, had a little cliche buffet @ the boat, and then started the journey home. Hmmm. Somehow I got the job of driving back. It took us nearly 3 hours to return home. 3 hours! Was all of that buffet gluttony and slot jockeying finally being noticed by the big man? Sinning doesn't go without punishment folks. Yesterday was proof of that. Then again, I am sinning everyday living with the other half, so a few games of chance shouldn't make that much difference. But, if you think about it, we knew of the potential blizzard, and still ventured south for the highs and lows of pulling that slot handle. I guess we did it to ourselves. The heavens had little to do with it. It was our own stupid choice.
