Indianapolis Has the Hottest Men & Other Observations About Our Weekend Getaway

It's true. I can't count the number of super attractive men in this city. It is my first time there, and will not be my last. For instance, we encountered a super hot employee at Abercrombie (of course) and a super hot customer in Old Navy. What a rear end. Pardon me. They were everywhere. In addition, the customer service in this city was outstanding. Everyone was super friendly, and they seemed very proud of their town. Our hotel; the Hilton Garden Inn; right in the heart of the city, was awesome. Great room, great customer service and the theatre for the show we saw, was only half a block from the hotel. Perfect. A mall was only two blocks away, and we were a mere half mile from the interstate. Quick in, quick out. Wonderful. We stopped at the ultimate in truck stop diners on the way to Indianapolis on Friday night. What do you think of with greasy spoon diner/truck stops? Picture it....go ahead. Well, stop. We were there in that place you just thought up. Great food, and our waitress had a super bad attitude, but treated us like kings...or queens, whatever. So, we left her a hefty tip, and were on our way. She seemed stunned, and very grateful. You know she works her ass off and gets paid for shit, so we decided to make her day. The concert we went for in the first place was simply amazing. It had its cheesball Christmas moments, but I fell for all of it. Sandi Patty was of course the headliner, and once again, seeing her sing is something that everyone should experience first hand. Her duet of "The Prayer" with her husband was very moving, and I shed some tears. Softie. Right before that was a performance of "Seasons of Love" from Rent. The way these people manipulated me, I could have sworn they were connected to Disney. We got to again meet Sandi after the show. She remembered us from the past two times we met her. We told her that we are calling ourselves Patty-Heads, and she seemed to get a kick out of that. We got an autograph for my mom and one for friend Char. They'll both love it. After the concert we went down the street for a late dinner @ the Hard Rock Cafe. A cute waiter (what do you know?) served us and I wanted to ask when he got off. Wouldn't that be awesome to actually do that once in your life? I thought it would be fun, but didn't do it. We then headed back to the hotel to crash. It was only a couple of blocks away. Talk about a stress free weekend. We slept super late and then were on our way. We stopped in Hammond at the casino, spent some bucks and some money we got for being part of the player's club, wolfed down a free buffet and were on our way home. A fast, super weekend full of fun, relaxation, and a super city of hot men, known as Indianapolis. I want to do more of these quick weekends.
