Deus Ex Machina

That's all I'm really looking for. To the universe, God, the heavens above, you have about 2 months before my unemployment runs dry (and about 3 days before the other half's patience runs dry). Perhaps the sale of my script or a super cool, well paying acting job. A large sum of money falling from the sky. Any of these things would be acceptable. I had an interview for a part time office gig today (I applied online only today). It's super close to home, which is an amazing bonus. I aced the interview and will have to meet w/ another of the owners/managers next week before I'm offered the position (which no doubt I will be). It has some weird, but seemingly good hours; 2:30-6:30pm (M,W,F) and Saturdays from like 10-3. That leaves me available to make 7pm rehearsals for pretty much any show I do. I'm not completely opposed to the Saturdays, since they seemingly will be open to my (no doubt) upcoming flexible audition chaos. Okay. They said they would be flexible for auditions at the last moment, and that another actor already works there. Hopefully we're on the same page. Eventually, it will lead to fulltime work, and other opportunities within the company. They are opening another branch soon; in Hyde Park; south of the loop. I'm not particularly looking forward to that, but we'll see how I get placed. So that's that. I open my mind and heart to all things creative and good that I want in my life; to act, be creative, be paid for acting and creative work, and to live in the manner that I am comfortable. By the power of Grayskull, DEUS EX MACHINA, DO YOUR STUFF!

I have a friend, castmate and co-company member who keeps telling me that he knows lots of people who are looking to hire. Personal assistant, admin, office-type stuff. Some part time, some full time. If you want some more info on it, send me an email and I'll get it to you.
