A Gift for Friend Serena

A couple of weekends ago (I blogged about it then), I stayed w/ friends Serena and Lester. While there, I did a little project for Serena. She also collects toys and horror related "stuff" (although not nearly as crazily as I have done in the past) She had yet to put it all out and display it, so I did it for her. More than twice I had to tell her children to "not touch it". At least until their mother returned home to see the splendor I created, then they could have at it. But I'm not being high on myself, am I? It's just a little brilliance I lifted from my brain to provide friend Serena a bit of joy upon her return from the daily grind. :)

Here's a photo I took. Not the greatest quality photo, but you can still see the glowing creativity caught in that moment. :)

Oh, look at the professional way I got the corner of my finger in the photo. You can't see the details or the grandeur of the work from this vantage, but you can certainly see the mindblowing organization and sparkle of whimsy. I hate that word; whimsy. It's constantly overused on HGTV's Decorating Cents, and I want to tell Joan Steffend to just stop. But, I digress. Enjoy the photo.
