The "Lucky" Jar
Many months ago, the other half and I went on a quest to find loose change/money on the ground/sidewalk/streets, etc. We decided to put it all in a jar, believing that it would have great power and provide oodles of luck. I therefore decorated the jar, christening it, The "Lucky" Jar. There are two specific things that must be abided by, when using this special container. You cannot, without room for error, ever place money from your pocket, wallet or other non "found" areas. We feel that if it gets mixed in, it will ruin the strength of the jar. The second important thing that must be done when using the jar, is the
recitation of the word "Lucky", as the coinage (or in one case; bills) is dropped in. In addition, the word must be said as if you are Napoleon Dynamite. Indeed, he was the inspiration for the whole naming of the jar. Here are some splendid fotos of the magic jar. Gaze at it in awe...
BTW: the foto of the pile of change; shows the coins we collected on our 10 day journey throughout Puerto Rico over the holidays! Rich Port indeed!
