Good Lord!

Could my stomach be more full of butterflies? I checked on the first contest; they have now updated announcement info from "late July", to quarterfinalists announced on 7-28...TWO DAYS FROM NOW! Then, semi-finalists are announced on 7-31, finalists on 8-11 and winners on 8-15. Two weeks from now could mean big things for my little zombie story. Sid and his friends would make fun of me if they knew how uptight I was about this whole thing. I guess I've done pretty well so far though. I entered this in April, and up until now, have had other things on my mind, thus I've been slack about my worrying. But now. Oh now, it is so close. I've got to calm down, and do the usual, "Hope for the best, prepare for the worst". All positive vibes and crossed fingers should be focusing on the words; "Sid's Apple". Keep repeating those words; over and over. When I sell my script for a large sum, I'll buy you all drinks...all 3 of you that read this on a regular basis, that is. So close now. Must remain calm.

The other half and I are going to see Patti LaBelle @ Ravinia tonight. That'll keep my mind off of it all. Thanks Patti.
