Wrapping It Up; Vegas-Style

So, Celine was amazing. We hung out w/ high school friend Monique and her hubby afterward. A very nice, quiet guy. Monique and I talked about who we have been in touch w/ since 14 (gimme a f***ing break; I can't believe it!) ago. Our 20 year reunion is in 6 years. I am simply horrified by this observation. We had drinks at the Bellagio. We watched a cute Asian couple (possibly mother and gay son) cut a rug on the dance floor; putting everyone else to shame. We watched a woman we referred to as "Boobs"; a Janet Leigh lookalike (the older one), flaunt her 20 year old (obviously recently purchased) body; wrapped in a tight, short skirt. We did some gambling and then parted ways. Monique looked great, and it was fun to see someone from so long ago. I don't believe we've seen one another since graduation. We were never the closest of buds, but we were always friendly. It was funny, I brought up the fact that she was friends w/ me and my circle and then fell in w/ the popular clique. She said she knew I would bring that up. I'm not bitter or anything, it was just a fun observation that I used to taunt her. We talked about how she used to be obsessed with my older brother. I explained that I believed I was now the more attractive of the two; a bit of a switcheroo. Well, I feel as though I'm losing steam, so will continue my Vegas reminiscing tomorrow. I'm sure you're all sitting on the edge of your seats in anticipation.

Nice to hear that Monique is doing well... But whyowhy was it necessary to mention that our 20th reunion is just a few years away? Ugh!

It was great to see you--you look great. You are better looking than your brother ever was!

Sorry we didn't have a plan--we're lame and next time you come, we'll have the best plan ever!
