The Descent...an Update
It opened only @ #5, w/ about 9 million. I don't know the budget of the film (although it already did well in Europe last year) so I don't know if this is a good thing or if its opening was considered a flop. I just don't know. Go see it. I guess I am to blame; I didn't go this weekend. I'm planning on waiting for it to die down a bit (which apparently won't take long) and then going to see it when there will be fewer idiots in the seats around me. I think I'm afraid to brave the theatres these days. I can't handle talking, rude, obnoxious people. This is another reason I want to be rich. I will build my own theatre; and show first run films there; for friends and family. You mess around once; and you'll never be invited again. Film audiences are to be silent; unless you're reacting to the action on screen. Get it? But, I digress. Go see The Descent! I'm going to...eventually.
