Signing Off

No more TV news for me. I really can no longer keep my anger contained as the stupidity runs rampant at all corners of the globe! It's a never-ending stream of crap. The other half and I took today off, napped, watched a movie (more on that later) and got a healthy dose of TV time. The b.s. continues from the political spectrum. Hastert didn't know about the horrible possibilities that Foley may have been capable of. Yeah, right. The recent craziness of school shootings; in particular, the Amish school "massacre". I can't deal w/ the constant droning bad news. The one that killed me today? The completely ludicrous story of the 28-year veteran of a Dallas school who took her 5th grade class to the Dallas Museum of Art. Get this, there were nude statues and paintings there. In a museum? Who ever could have imagined? Her contract was not renewed; apparently cuz a few parents and teachers complained. Honestly! What is the world coming to? How about this? Did you complaining, idiotic parents sign the permission slip for this field trip? You did? Well, then perhaps you should have checked things out on your own before sending your children to this horrible "porn shop" known as the Dallas Museum of Art. How about that? No, you left your trust with those you've left with the burden of raising your children. If you believe your children should be so sheltered, for heaven's sake, home school them. This way, they'll have no exposure to possible nudity or other nasties of the outside world. They'll just turn out w/ tinges of of social retardation. Enough is enough already. How has the human race moved into this ever-deepening hole of quicksand stupidity? Were we always this stupid? I'm having a vision...it's...a dim future for the human race. I don't necessarily consider myself a pessimist (in general), but I can't see us surviving much longer if the stupidity levels continue to grow. I'm sorry. I really don't.

Also, real quick. I think it's completely bogus that the whole Foley scandal is being made into a "gay" thing. Let's be clear folks, it's a "pedophile" thing. Let's not get caught up in making this all the more "news-worthy" by adding the "gay" factor. Jesus... There are plenty of male pedophiles out there who show interest in females. Bottom line, these people are in desperate need of help and/or punishment. There's no need to discriminate between their "preferences".
