"Hello Gorgeous..."
That's what the other half and I will be saying in a few short hours. Once he is off from work, we head over to the voting polls next door (Babs would be very proud of our political involvement); and then it's a short drive (don't make me eat my words traffic!) to the United Center. The first time either of us (as far as I know; me for sure; the other half's the worldly one) have ever seen her live. We don't have the best seats ever (what could possibly compare to second row seats for Madge a couple of years ago?), but we have the possibility of seeing Babs sing (& these are the ones I'm waiting for) Evergreen, The Way We Were and anything from Yentl or Funny Girl. Anyone out there still debating about my sexuality? Here's your confirmation. Gay, gay, gay! Babs, Babs, Babs! I wasn't really excited about this until today. I guess I've had a lot on my mind. But damn. I mean DAMN! We're about to see Barbra Streisand; a living legend. Okay brain; it's time to kick in on what you're about to witness. Yup...there it is.
