Happy F-in' New Year!

We returned a short time ago from our New Year's Eve festivities. It's about 2:30 am. We were invited to a private party in the Hancock building downtown. Friends Lauren and Steve put our names in for an invite to Lauren's cousin's condo on the 86th floor. Great spread, friendly folks, and a spectacular view; w/ fireworks @ midnight. I don't feel like going into details, but the wait for the bus on the way home was a treat; complete w/ a flash of a woman's non-underweared "personals" as she boarded a cab. The bus ride itself was also quite fun. It's a nice change of pace to have a bus full of lively people, where usually there are a bevy of somber-faced members of the work force, making their way to their dreadful day jobs. Another treat, was paying 1 cent for one way on the bus. It's a special the CTA offers for the holiday evening. Good times. My New Year's resolution? To move my screenplay to the next level. Whether that's working toward producing it myself, or getting it produced by a film company. Whatever it is, it's time to make it happen. Happy New Year to one and all!
