HOBW Experience Completed :(
Well, except for the wrap party, premiere, awards ceremonies, interviews, conventions, etc. On Tuesday night, David, Clare and I got together to reshoot the "Steve Wall" scene... It was the first scene I shot for the film back in October/November?, and due to some continuity issues (and in my mind, bad performance by me), we came together for the final bit of shooting...at least w/ actors...at least as far as I know. If you'll recall, this was the scene that I had my neurotic actor episode. I've grown so much since then. :) It was a fun little reunion (not that we didn't see each other a few weeks ago for French Toast's first shoot weekend). Anyway, the location was changed up a bit, the effects toned down, the lighting adjusted and I was able to find a bit more within myself to deliver a much better performance. We watched the footage and it seemed that all were pleased. A worthwhile evening. Also, there's a nice bit for the gore fans here. You'll have to wait and see. So, my time working on House of Black Wings has officially completed. Bittersweet describes it best. So long duck pants. So long Blackwood. So long "Steve".
PS. Now I can get a short haircut! How do you spell relief ?
