Could Be Good

Doomsday is on its way. It's the new film from Neil Marshall, the brilliant guy behind one of the recent entries into my "Fave Movie Hall of Fame" (I just made that up...perhaps I'll use it again)...The Descent. The link here is for the trailer. It looks to incorporate a bit of 28 Days Later, I Am Legend, Escape from New York and the Mad Max series. However, let's keep in mind that The Descent borrowed heavily from Alien, The Thing, The Shining and The X-Files...and look how good that turned out to be. Neil Marshall takes semi-unoriginal ideas and works magic with them...although I still have not seen his debut; Dog Soldiers. So, I guess I can only comment on the amazing, terrifying experience I had with The Descent. Check out the trailer and let me know what y'all think!
