Joining the List
My favorite movie list is filled to the brim, but there always seems to be just enough room to fit a few more...every few months or so. They're in there for so many different reasons, and these newbies are no different. Please welcome the following three films to my favorite list. OF ALL TIME. What an honor. Don't they know it...
Soapdish. Hilarious. One of the most amazing ensemble casts known to man. Favorite line? Out of the hundred or so that stand out; it is Cathy Moriarty's delivery of "Hello Mother" that takes top honors. Close second? "I've been very patient Lord", also delivered by Ms. Moriarty.
Little Shop of Horrors. It wasn't until I recently met Ellen Greene in my store that I realized this film was missing from my list. She's brilliant. The music's brilliant and Audrey II is hungry. What a great time this movie is.

Foul Play. The albino scares the shit out of me; to this very day. Chevy is adorable and Goldie is in top form. Add a soundtrack full of Barry Manilow, Esme the snake and Burgess Meredith apparently doing most of his own stunts in the fight scene, and you've got an automatic winner. I've loved this one for as long as I can remember. What's been the hold up? I honestly don't know.
