I Want That 11

OMG!

Okay, we've been browsing for a place...can't deal w/ that expense @ this time, but we can still browse, right?

"No thank you, we're just browsing."

Now, you know (if you've been a part of my avid readers of 0) that I've posted blogs concerning several condos here in LA...under the headline, "I Want That".

Let me just say...I HAVE FOUND THE ONE. All others that follow will have to live up to this space; all others before don't have a chance. If all went well, I'd buy this place tomorrow...LOTTERY GODS! HEAR MY PRAYER!

Anyway, the location is not too terribly far from where we are now, so it's still in Hollyweird, and we'd only be 4 blocks south of the ArcLight and Amoeba Records. NICE!

On top of that; it was originally a bungalow for writers @ Paramount. Talk about good vibes, good history and a complete lifetime supply of INSPIRATION!

This makes me think about a line from The Golden Girls. (once again, welcome to my pop culture infused brainwaves) It's the episode where a young George Clooney stars as a cop (w/ an older cop) who comes to stay w/ the girls; as a couple of jewel thieves have come to live next door to the girls...(was that long winded enough?). Anyway, Dorothy falls for the older cop; and they bicker as if they've been married for decades. As he bosses her around, and then leaves the room; Bea Arthur throws out what could only be described as HER BEST DELIVERY OF A LINE EVER! If you know this episode, you know what I'm talking about.

The line, "OH MY GOD, I'M CRAZY NUTS ABOUT THIS GUY!"

Change it up a bit, and you've got, "OH MY GOD, I'M CRAZY NUTS ABOUT THIS HOME!"

Here's a link w/ the listing and photos. Check out the architectural detail. That fireplace, the private courtyard for the complex, the ceilings, high windows, skylight! Need I go on? Check this shit out! I AM IN LOVE!
