Writings: The Belonging
Approximate Age: 15-16
Ashe puked up the rabbit's guts, he noticed from out of the corner of his eye, a spaceship landing in the near-by field. He wiped his mouth and headed for the glowing extra-terrestrial vehicle.
On the way there, he was attacked by a giant walking table. It ran after him until he finally lost it.
He screamed with joy at saving his terrific life.
"I've got kids to feed and raise," he said to the bush at his side.
He waited to catch his breath.
"You must belong and be conquered by the way the light goes out," said a voice behind him.
"No!" He screamed and began running again to the vehicle from outer space.
He ran for a long time before he began to belong.
"Wow! What a day!" he shouted into the elephant's ear.
"Thank you," said the elephant and waddled away into the lake.
"Thirsty is right," said the man and began to belong even more.
He finally reached the ship that was from outer space, but not without having some close encounters with a talking head, a walking dead napkin holder, a swarm of killer hot dog buns and a blue and yellow

the ship and said, "Do I belong?"

the spaceship from outer space and they flew away together.
****author's note****
this was evidently written during a workshift @ one of my summer jobs as a teenager--one summer, an ice cream parlour and the following summer, a taffy factory. The piece is written on a napkin. So one of the corners is missing. The missing portions are shown above as ====. Just an fyi. Although I would like to know exactly how this one ended. Oh well.
