Writings -- Shadows

Approximate age: 14-15

This was apparently a class project.  The heading reads "Period II".  And it appears as though I got a 20 out of 20.  And a hand-written note, "Good!"  Score!

The school is dark and the shadows go up and down the long hallways.
The shadows begin to move wildly as if someone is there.  Not one person is in this maze of messy lockers and empty hallways.  The dark, large shadows don't move from their permanent positions that they go to every night.
A janitor moves slowly up and down the halls, cleaning whatever messes have been piled up throughout the long day.
His shadow is added to the many.
The shadows cling to him as he tried to escape.
