Embarassing Cries

I realized, as I sit here watching Mommie Dearest for the 800th time (I am working from home, so I put on movies for background noise; Mommie Dearest is a good one, cuz I don't have to pay attention to know what is going on), that I once cried @ this movie. I was just a tiny kid when I probably first saw it, probably on HBO. Sure Joan Crawford is a wretched bitch, but when Christina goes to visit her blue deadness, I remember crying. Probably cuz I felt that was the right thing to do. Other oddball cry moments I have had, include the maiming of Jesse in Mad Max, and the death of Vader in Return of the Jedi (both within the past few years). Both of these movies are all time favorites, and could probably be watched off of my eyeballs, I have seen them so many times. But, certain times I have watched them, and they get a tearful reaction. Pathetic, I know. What's worse, is how I will sometimes cry @ The Golden Girls on Lifetime. If it is a particulary touching moment (there are so many), and it strikes me the right way, off we go to blubber-land. I am just a great big softy, and I guess I should embrace that. I just hope this doesn't get out....Crap.
