Bruce Spence as The Gyro Captain in The Road Warrior. One of the most lovable, memorable sidekick roles; he's goofy, loyal and sympathetic. We love him as he's abused by Max; as he shows bits of that infrequent humanity; while watching the rape and murder of the would-be escapees, as he is made to suffer at the hands of "dog", and the joy on his face when he has to use his precious snakes to assist in the rebellion. Kudos to Bruce Spence on a job well done.
