Politicians Are Big Fat Stupid Idiots

This news on the governor of NY; Eliot Spitzer is another notch in my case against politicians. The fact that we continually elect complete morons into positions of power; is beginning to confuse me. We expect these people to look out for our best interests, and yet they don't have enough self control to keep away from scandal; or better yet, they don't have the common sense that would allow them to see what is in plain sight. YOU WILL BE CAUGHT! You're in a public, high profile position. What are you thinking? How many more examples of ruined lives and careers do you need? Why, just in recent times, we have the outrageous tales of Larry Craig and Mark Foley. Aren't these clear indicators that you won't get away w/ your deviant behavior? Seriously? And these idiots who put themselves on the line for a piece of ass, these are the guys who we are putting into office. What's wrong w/ us? More importantly, what's wrong w/ them? Why are politicians; slaves to sexual misconduct? I don't get it. It saddens me that I would prefer they just do these immoral acts; and get away w/ it. This way, as the general public, we'll never know how stupid they really are. By doing these things; and being dumb enough to leave a paper trail (or in this case, a fluid trail); we get a heartbreaking confirmation that we were just as dumb to fully trust them...enough to put them into power. Politicians (and evidently us) are big, fat, stupid idiots. Keep it zipped, boys!
