Stew of Sin #116

Per my last post, here we find another woman added to my stew. I know this adding of women needs to stop, but the sexy gets what the sexy wants. It's Elisabeth Shue. I'll admit that I've had a crush on her since The Karate Kid. Allie was always such a great girlfriend...someone everyone would have wanted to be on their side. I remember being angry in the opening moments of the sequel, that she was brushed away so carelessly. There's no way, based on the relationship between Daniel and Allie, that she would have left him for some football player. One of the biggest tragedies of writing in Hollywood history. Let's just put it out there, shall we? Anyway, I think that's a testament to her likability as an actress. I think she's aged very well, and let's be frank, she has a great rack. I think her sexiest role came in The Saint, opposite Val Kilmer. I loved her chase scene from the sewers to the embassy; in those fabulous knee-high boots. Sexy! Seeing her recently in Hamlet 2 reminded me of how much I like her...not just as a Stew addition, but as an actress. I was thrilled by her Oscar-nominated performance in Leaving Las Vegas, and I wish she could find those heights again. However, in everything she does, like supporting roles in Hamlet 2 or Hide and Seek, she shines. And, per the necessity of this series, she is, indeed...HOT. Welcome.
