Star Trek...Hmmm

Here's a link to the website for JJ. Abrams' new take on the Star Trek franchise. While I'm thrilled that it's getting a facelift, and it certainly looks exciting, I am a bit afraid of the beautiful, young CW network cast. The moments in the trailer where they show the crew on the bridge, looks like a bunch of kids; pretending to be the crew of the Enterprise...and not in a "good acting/pretending" type way. Prove me wrong. I get the fact that they're trying to bring the characters to today's youth, but I hope that doesn't turn away fans of the past. They're all just too pretty to be a young McCoy or Spock, or even Kirk (and Shatner was a hottie back in the day). I'm just saying. Here's a link.
